Mr. Charles Marvin Charlie FutchMr. Charles Marvin Charlie Futch age 70, of Starke passed away Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Malcom Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville unexpectedly. Mr. Futch was born on September 13, 1941 in Macclenny to the late Robert and Deloris (Garrett) Futch and moved to Starke from Ohio 13 years ago. Prior to retirement he worked for H.K. Furgerson Engineering Company as a superintendent. He served in United States Marine Corps, was a Baptist, enjoyed spending time with friends, and was a collector of guns, knives, and coins. Survivors are: daughter: Denise Sumala of Jacksonville; sisters: Lita Johnson of Starke; Inez Sauls of Lake City; Louise Cassels; Barbara Cassels both of Lochloosa; brother: Lamar Futch of Starke; grandchildren: Shana Grace; Destiny Bostic; Sarah Pitts; Aaliyah Sumala; beloved friend: Sandra Owen of Texas. The family will receive friends in the DEWITT C. JONES CHAPEL, 620 E. Nona St. in Starke on Wednesday, February 1, 2011 from 6-7 PM with funeral services beginning at 7 oclock.
