Charles Mark Harrod, age 78, passed away on February 8, 2023 under the care of Community Hospice. Charlie was born in Jacksonville, FL on October 6, 1944. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Charlotte Harrod as well as his sister, Patty Harrod Robacowski and his two brothers, Richard and Michael Harrod.Charlie graduated from Robert E. Lee High School and went to work for Swift Meat Company. He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Reserves and was discharged due to a near fatal car accident. He was able to make a full recovery and went on to work for Townsend Orthotics, Bremer Brace and NAS JAX (NADEP) where he eventually retired from. Charlie was a member of the Ionic Lodge No. 101.
