Charles Otto "Red/Charlie" Hodge

Mr. Charles Otto "Red/Charlie" Hodge age 47, of Lawtey passed away at his home, Wednesday January 18, 2017. He was born in Starke on April 29, 1969 and had been a lifelong resident of the area. Mr. Hodge graduated from Bradford County High School with the class of 1989; he was of the Baptist faith, would always help others and lived life to the fullest. His father, Henry Vernon Hodge had preceded him in death. Survivors are his mother and step-father, Mariam (Martin) and Ron Birt; four siblings, Yvonne (Rick) Miller, Eva Lynn Atwood, George Hodge, Jay (Becky) Hodge and a step brother, Gene Birt all of Starke. Also left behind are six nieces, Namoi Atwood, Krista Atwood, Tiffany Atwood, Jalynne Hodge, Nikki Miller and Jessie Miller along with three nephews, Alex Miller, Ben Miller and Ian Miller in addition to numerous family and friends from Lawtey. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Tatum Park in Lawtey.
