Charles Edward "Charlie" James

Mr. Charles Edward "Charlie" James age 73, of Keystone Heights passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2021 suddenly. Mr. James was born on September 21, 1947 in Hodgenville, Kentucky to the late Charles Edward and Ann Christine (Young) James. Charlie was a member of Hope Baptist Church and the owner/operator of Charles James Show Horses. He also worked as an electrician for many years and owned/operated MTS Microfilm for 27 years. He was a member of the Keystone Heights Sportsmans Club & Jaycees. He enjoyed spending time with his family, teaching others to ride horses, and teaching the Florida Hunter Education Safety Course for more than 30 years. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years Dianne (McGuinness) James. Survivors are; daughters, Kimberly Stevens (Tony) of Shalimar, FL, Tammy Osborne Pilto (Erik) of Pensacola, FL, son, Hollis Osborne (Debbie) of Wellsburg, West Virginia. Also left are his grandchildren, Bryson Stevens, Natalie Stevens, Noah Stevens, Ella Stevens, Sally Stevens, Annelise Stevens, Christopher Castillo, Steven Castillo, Mandy Jones, Cody Osborne, Jessica Osborne, great grandchildren, Brayden, Carsen, Sadie, and Rowan. A combined Celebration of Life service for Charles James and Dianne James will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Hope Baptist Church at 11:00 am with Pastor Joey Hay officiating.
