Mr. Charles Edwin Jones, age 73, of Starke, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at Haven Hospice Center in Gainesville. Charles was born December 10, 1948, in Jacksonville, to Elmer Minton and Stella Clarice (Strickland) Jones. He was a very kindhearted man and inspired many people in the Bradford community. Charles always had a great passion for cooking and Elvis Presleys music. Charles leaves behind devoted and adoring wife of 48 years, Sandra (Alvarez) Jones of Starke. The two of them together share 5 children: Lorie Riley (Nakia), Charles "Bubba" Jones (Lisa), Deana Jones (Adrienne), Ashly Jones and Cody Jones, all of Starke. He was an amazing Papa or "Pop Pop" to his grandchildren: Michael, Dillion, Katlyn, Halie, Alyssa, Jayda and Brayden, as well as his great granddaughter Emersyn. A celebration of life will be held on September 3, 2022 at the Jones residence 1103 Butler Road, Starke, Florida from 2:00pm to 6:00pm.
