Charles Douglas Menotte, Sr. Charles Douglas Menotte, Sr. 90, of Jacksonville Florida, passed away Tuesday November 26, 2013. He was born December 26, 1922 here in Jacksonville to parents Robert & Lurlene Menotte. Mr. Menotte, a welder by trade who retired after 15 years with the Jacksonville Electric Authority, loved to fish and tinker around building things he deemed useful. Charles served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II in the Pacific. Most of all Charles loved his grandchildren. Mr. Menotte is survived by his wife Peggy; a daughter, Phyllis (Burle) Wiggings; a son, Charles Douglas Menotte, Jr.; a sister, Lurlene Craft; 2 grandchildren, Shelley Schaper and Adam Wiggings; a great grandchild, Spencer Schaper.A Memorial Service will be held on Friday November 29, 2013 at 2:00PM in the chapel of George H.
