ObituaryCharles Ray SimmonsMr. Charles Ray Simmons age 55, of Starke passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012 at his residence suddenly. Mr. Simmons was born on August 17, 1956 in Jacksonville and was a lifelong area resident. Mr. Simmons worked as a welder, served in the United Sates Army, and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father D.J. Simmons and a sister. Survivors are his mother Marion (Waggoner) Chitty of Jacksonville; one daughter; two brothers; one sister; his aunt and caregiver: Dollie Martin of Melrose.
