Mr. Charles G. Willis, Jr. (Chuck Willis) 76, of Keystone Heights passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 1, 2012. Mr. Willis was born on October 3, 1935 in Columbus, GA to the late Charles Grady and Jewel (Knight) Willis, Sr. He was the owner and operator of Willis Realty in Keystone Heights and has been a real estate broker for over 40 years. He retired from the Air Force as a Master Sergeant in 1977.Prior to moving to Keystone Heights in 1990, Mr. Willis was a resident of Satellite Beach where he was also the former president of the Kiwanis Club. After moving to Keystone Heights be became a member of Trinity Baptist Church where he was also a Sunday school teacher, and active with the Timothy Sunday school class. He had also been a past president for the Keystone Heights Rotary Club, Deacon at Paran Baptist Church, member of the American Legion, Moose Lodge, and was active as a Gideon and Guardian ad-litem. Mr. Willis was an avid fisherman and golfer but most of all he was a man of God putting God, his wife, and family first. Survivors are his wife of 53 years, Kitty Willis of Keystone Heights and their children; Michael Willis and his wife Inez of Jensen Beach, Brian Willis of Keystone Heights and Natalie Willis Derrick and her husband Mike of Indialantic. He is also survived by his sisters: Ginger Hunt and husband Donald of Goldsboro, NC; Bobbi Johnson and husband Fred of Keystone Heights; and Susan Hutchinson and fianc? James Crook of Tampa. He also leaves behind his five loving grandchildren: Cherish, Ciara, Trent, and Jacob Willis; and Megan Derrick. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 5, 2012 from 5-7 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. in the Trinity Baptist Church with Pastor James Peoples and Pastor Scott Stanland officiating. Burial will be in the family cemetery in Sylvester, GA at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that contributions please be made to the Trinity Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O.
