Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Chase Anthony, who went home to be with his Lord at the age of 17 on June 27, 2025.

Born on May 21, 2008, in St Augustine, Chase brought light, laughter, and love to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His kindness, curiosity, and gentle spirit touched the lives of family, friends, classmates, teachers and community members alike.

A student at Keystone Heights High School, Chase was known and loved by many. He never met a stranger and had a special way of making everyone feel valued and cared for." Whether through a smile, a quick fist bump, a heartfelt hug, or a kiss on the hand, he had a gift for connection that will be sorely missed.

Trinity Baptist Church in Keystone Heights was a constant in his life, where he found joy and belonging while growing up in the children's ministry.

Chase Lee Anthony was the son of Deborah Anne Rozier of Keystone Heights; biological parents, Kerri Hilton of Satsuma, Terry Lee Anthony Jr. of Pensacola; survived by siblings, Tyeler Anthony-Rozier, Riley Anthony-Rozier, Abbigail Anthony-Rozier, Taylor Anthony-Rozier all of Keystone Heights, Ivan Carter Jr., Jasmine Carter of North Carolina, Shane Mellen of Georgia; grandparents, Terry and Pamela Anthony of Lakeland, Robert and Joy Lee of Arizona; great grandparents, Sam and Connie Rozier, Sharon Anthony; aunts and uncles Krista Ellis, Jesse Lee, Chase Anthony; great aunts and uncles, Sherrie Simpson, Tom(Melissa) Rozier, Sam(Lori) Rozier, Mike Anthony, Brian Anthony; cousins, Lane, Corbin, Aura, Paxton, JC, Hunter, Khloe, and many other extended family members and friends who cherished him deeply.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at Trinity Baptist Church ant the Celebration of Life service beginning 11:00am with Pastor Clay Robinson and Pastor Tom Rozier officiating. All who knew and loved Chase are welcome to attend and celebrate a life that, though brief, was so beautifully lived.

Though his time with us was short, Chase's legacy of love, laughter, and compassion will live on in all who were fortunate enough to know him.
