Chester Arthur Hall, age 80, of Melrose, FL, was called to heaven, June 24, 2014. His passing was due to complications of heart disease.Chester was born in Lawton, KY on September 9, 1933. He grew up in Olive Hill, KY and joined the military soon after graduating from Olive Hill High School. Chester served 26 years in the US Air Force and retired as a Senior Master Sargent. During his military career, he travelled the world and was a decorated combat veteran of the Vietnam War. His last 14 years in the service was working at Andrews Air Force Base, where one of his assignments was working with Air Force One. He was also an accomplished outdoorsman and an active member of his church. He spread the word of God through local outreach and missionary trips overseas. He is survived by his wife of 15 years (Becky), his 3 children (Linda Eckwerth, Chet Hall and Wanda Hall), 2 stepchildren (Mark Bunker and Stephanie Renier), 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Chester is also survived by his 2 bothers (Junior and Sable Hall) and only sister (Betty Logan).Funeral arrangements will be held on Friday, June 27, 2014 at 10:00am at Eden Baptist Church, 2405 County Road 219A, Hawthorne, FL 32640. A small luncheon will be held immediately after the service. In lieu of flowers, a request of donations to the Eden Baptist Church Missionary Fund, P.O.
