Chhem Me, age 79. passed away at his home in Jacksonville on June 1, 2017. He was born in Battambang, Cambodia on March 16, 1938.Chhem Me was a retired tool maker & technician. He was an instrumental force in the conception & construction of the Eastern United Temple of Jacksonville. Survivors include his spouse, Phornsy Tout; 5 daughters: Phally Chhem, Nary Chhem Ly, Phady Chhem, Pisey Chhem & Tiffany Chhem; 3 sons: Narin Chhem, Naron Chhem & Nayki Chhem.
