Christina Suarez

Christina M. Suarez, age 104, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, December 15th, 2019. Christina was born in Matanzas, Cuba, in 1915. She leaves a legacy of love, faith, and service to God, her family, friends, and all who knew her. She was a beautiful example of Christ's love as she dedicated herself to a lifetime of serving and helping others. Christina is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Dr. Roberto Suarez and son-in-law, Dr. Rafael S. Inclan. She is survived by her brother, Dr. Hector Mendez (Juanita), of Orlando, her son, Roberto Suarez (Maria) of Boca Raton, her daughter, Sylvia Inclan, of Jacksonville, her son, Jorge Suarez (Lana), of Jacksonville; three grandchildren: Clemente J. Inclan (Natalie) of Jacksonville, Michelle Lopez (Richard) of Miami, and Danielle Petrone (Alex) of Boca Raton; six great-grandchildren: Angelica Inclan, Clemente Inclan, Mark Lopez, John Lopez, Christopher Lopez, and Kevin Petrone, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. There will be a visitation at 9:30 a.m. and a funeral mass to follow at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4100 University Boulevard, South, Jacksonville, Florida, on Saturday, December 21st, 2019 with Rev. Rodolfo Godinez, Parochial Vicar of San Jose Catholic Church.
