Christine O. Trimble

Christine O. Trimble, age 56 of Jacksonville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 8, 2018. A Jacksonville native, Christine was born here on December 19, 1961 to Leroy Overstreet & Muriel Johnson Overstreet. She graduated from Terry Parker High School in 1979 and worked as an office manager for a local screen graphics company before she retired. She had attended Harvest Baptist Church in the past with her family and were most recently attending services at North Jacksonville Baptist Church.Christine was preceded in death by her parents & by her sister, Kay Allen. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Timothy E. Trimble; her son, Matthew Trimble; her daughter, Rachel Green (husband, Chad); a grandson, Jameson Green and her sister, Patricia Hutchins. Christine is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family & friends; all of whom will miss her loving & dedicated care and friendship.A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday August 11, 2018 in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd., S. with Rev. Wilfred McCormick officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
