Christopher James Merriman aka "Gravy"34,of High Springs, FLOn July 31, 2021 Chris passed away unexpectedly Friday evening on a motorcycle ride with his wife and friends. Chris was born Dec 30, 1986 in Ventura, CA. Chris Graduated from Mohawk High School, followed by Audio Engineering Technical School, Chris was employed by Sandvik of Alachua County, FL as a Production Team Lead. Chris served in the United States Navy. Chris has several hobbies Baseball, Motorcycle and BMX Riding, spending time with his wife, Rachel, and his son, Kai, at the skate park. Chris and Rachel loved to cook together. Chris was known to have a big contagious smile. Music has always been a huge part of Chris and his family's life. Chris is preceded in death by Grandpa Don Leo Townsend, Aunt Sheri Lyn Merriman, Grandfather Phillip Kelly, Sr, Grannie Mae Bellini. He is survived by his loving wife Rachel Dunford-Merriman and his son Kai Leo Merriman, his Parents Jimmy Merriman. Nancy Townsend & Phillip Kelly Jr., Andrew Merriman, Tyler Merriman, Cash Merriman, Chloe Merriman, Phillip Kelly III, Matthew Kelly,Aunt Donna Townsend, Grandma Rose Kelly.
