Mrs. Clara Elizabeth Cribbs 84, of Starke passed away at her home on April 13, 2011 following and extended illness. Mrs. Cribbs was born in Jacksonville on Sept. 27, 1926 to the late George S. and Pearl S. Roberts Long. She has been as resident of Starke for over 20 years and was a homemaker. Mrs. Cribbs was preceded in death by her husband; Brandon T. Cribbs, Sr. children, Alton, C.D., Brandon T. Cribbs, Jr.; grandchildren, Melvin Cribbs, Jr. great grandchildren, Allie Barger and Victoria Loiacano. Her survivors are her children; George H. Cribbs, Sr. of Covington, GA, Liz Loiacano of Starke, Helen Jones of Lake City, Melvin Cribbs, Sr. of Orange Park, Victor Cribbs, Dorinda Motes, Joan Perez all of Starke, Diane Jones of Mansfield, GA, and Ann Cribbs of Archer. She is also survived by her sister, Lois Moody of Green Cove Springs, 28 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Viewing for Mrs. Cribbs will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2011 in the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel from 6-7 P.M. A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 18, 2011 at 10 A.M. at Crosby Lake Cemetery with Rev. Jason Cain officiating.
