Clarence Dramon Bales was the son of the late Charlie Dramon Bales and Florie Ann Elizabeth Bales, born May 13, 1934 in Raven, Virginia. At the age of 80 years after a brief illness, Clarence departed into the arms of his Heavenly Father on Friday, November 7, 2014. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Mildred Beatrice Hampton and Ruth Elizabeth Bales. He leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife, Katharine Ann Bales; two sons, Gary Thomas (Heather) and Stephen Allan (Patricia); one granddaughter, Brianna Bales Mattingly, and one great-granddaughter, Braylynn Grace Mattingly and a host of other relatives and friends. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30a.m. Thursday, November 13, 2014 in the Chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard, South Jacksonville, FL 32216 with Dr. Terry N. Collins officiating. Burial will follow at the Jacksonville National Cemetery.
