Mr. Clarence ONeal Dodson age 85, of Jacksonville passed away Monday, October 8, 2012 at the Acosta Rua Center. Mr. Dodson was born in Bainbridge, GA on May 15, 1927 to the late Neely and Alma (Greene) Dodson, and he had served in the U.S. Army for 10 _ years and was a WWII veteran. Prior to his retirement he was a mechanic with the United States Postal Service. Mr. Dodson was also a member of the Riverside Park Methodist Church, where he was in the Mens group and a past custodian. He enjoyed his family and growing fruit trees. Survivors are his wife of 51 years; Olive (Turner), children; Alma Watson (Tim) of Middleburg, Mary Dodson (Brandon) of Amarillo, TX, Clinton Dodson (Stephanie) of Fruit Cove, and Calvin Dodson of Jacksonville. He also leaves behind his sister; Clara Mae Trondle of Bainbridge, GA, a _ brother; Roy Hussy of Deerfield Beach, four grandchildren, one great grandson; Eli Tucker Qualls, and several nieces and nephews. Viewing for Mr. Dodson will be held on Sun. Oct. 14, 2012 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Riverside Park United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be Mon. Oct. 15, 2012 at 1 p.m. also at the church with Pastor Rafe Vigil officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the care of JONES-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME, 620 E.
