Claude Mason Mosley

A funeral service for Claude Mason Mosley "CM", 89 of Jax, FL will be held in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 North Main Street Jax, FL at 10AM on Saturday, September 9, 2017 with Dr. Terry Gore officiating. Claude retired from a long career in the automobile sales industry and then in his late 70s decided to start a new career in real estate; he went to the local Junior College and received his GED and then secured his Florida Real Estate license, which was active upon his death. Claude was the very definition of a people person and a life-long learner. He loved quotes and one of his favorite was "be kind to everyone you meet, for they are engaged in a great battle." Claude was a 50- year member of the William B. Barnett Lodge #187; 40 year member of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, and the Morocco Shriners. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Claude is preceded in death by his parents; Carrial and Mamie Mosley, his brothers; Bill and Gene Mosley and his first child; Keith Mosley. He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Allene Ray Mosley. Three sons; Dennis Carrial Mosley (Diana), Alan Ray Mosley (Renee), Scott Mason Mosley (Taffie). A sister Katherine Elizabeth Goldstein. A sister-in-law Barbara J. Skipper, Eleven Grandchildren; Justin, Morgan, Elizabeth, Carly, Mason, Nicholas, Isabella, Camden, Cooper, James and Robert. Three Great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
