Claudine A Ross

Claudine A. Ross Mrs. Claudine Ross, 93, passed away on October 3, 2020 at her home in Starke, Florida. Mrs Ross was born on December 6, 1926 in West Virginia, the daughter of a coal miner. During WWII, she left West Virginia and became a welder, where she met her soon to be husband and settled in Florida. An avid homemaker, she raised four children and was an active member in churches of the Southern Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, William G . Ross Sr., and her daughter, Carole Jane Ross Ellison. She is survived by her children, Jessie Ross Homan, of Clinton, Mississippi; William G. Ross Jr.(Bill) of Starke, Florida; and Harold N. Ross (Bunky) of Chuluota, Florida, ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. There will be a family service at Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home Starke beginning at 1:00 p.m. on October 7, 2020 to be followed by internment at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Dunnellon, Florida.
