Clifton E. "Bud" Bernier, Sr. Clifton E. Bud Bernier, Sr.,75, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, November 19, 2013 in Jacksonville, FL. He was born on June 27, 1938 in Chippewa Falls, WI. He was predeceased by his sons Jeffrey and Clifton. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Elaine, daughters, Lori Garrett (Jabo) and Donna Herrin (Greg); grandson Brandon Esses, brothers, Jim (Jackie) and Bob (Jeanne), and sisters Carol Lien and Pattie Eimerman (Dale) and many nieces and nephews. He had a sense of humor, story telling and genuine love and concern for his family and friends. He was a devoted UF Gator fan for 43 yrs. Served in the U.S. Navy and retired from NW Airlines. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 24 from 2 - 6 PM with a funeral service Monday, November 25 at 2 pm at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 North Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206, with burial at Evergreen Cemetery.
