Clifton Newton Prevatt

Mr. Clifton Newton Prevatt age 79, of Starke passed away Friday, November 29, 2019 at his residence. Mr. Prevatt was born on August 18, 1940 in Lawtey to the late Earl and Louie Bell (Griffis) Prevatt and was a life-long area resident. He was of the Baptist faith and prior to his illness was a very active member of Air Park Baptist Church. Clifton was a retired truck driver, loved his truck, his lawn mower and his dog Jade. Survivors are: his wife of 43 years, Deborah Anne (McConnell) Prevatt of Starke, children: Latonya Prevatt (Joe Powe) and Krystal Tyler all of Starke, Jennifer Tyler (John) of Rosenburg, TX, Cheryl Scott (Larry) of Lawtey, Michael Prevatt (Carol) and Clifton Darrell Prevatt (Becky) all of Clayton, NC and sister-in-law, Mary Sawyer of Starke. Also left are fourteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Memorial services were held at Bible Baptist Church on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Roger Worten officiating.
