Conchetta J. "Connie" Kerr

November 26, 1936 – November 19, 2025

Conchetta J. Kerr, lovingly known as "Connie," passed away peacefully on November 19, 2025, just one week shy of her 89th birthday. Born on November 26, 1936, to Peter McMahon and Josephine (Mormone) McMahon, Connie lived a long, full life rooted in faith, family, and generosity.

Connie was the devoted wife of Robert Brown Kerr, her beloved husband of 62 years, who preceded her in death. Together, they built a strong, joyful family that became Connie's greatest pride.

She is survived by her sister, Hope Edwards (Hayes); her daughter, Glenda Thompson (Charles); and her five sons: Robert Bevans-Kerr (Janece), Ralph Kerr (Maria), Alvin Ray Kerr (Cynthia Marie), John Kerr (Margarita), and David Kerr (Tina).

Connie was blessed with 18 grandchildren: Erin (Robert), Katherine (Brian), Nathan, Samuel, Gregory (Lori), Robert (Eleana), Margaret (Romeo), Joshua (Sofia), Christopher (Astrid), Samantha (Charles), Sarah (Daniel), Emily (Mitchell), Zachary, Travis, Megan (Gage), Kevin, Sara, and Isabella.

She was further blessed with 28 great-grandchildren: Wesley, Isla, Adelaide, Eleanor, Ralph, Violet, David, Charlie, Mark, Max, Natalie, Romeo, Angela, Rachel, Christina, Lewis, Nicole, Valetina, Charlie, Lucille, Madison, Laurence, Madeline, Liliana, Evelyn, Nova, Coleson, and Gracelin.

A woman of unwavering faith and a heart full of compassion, Connie touched countless lives with her kindness, humor, and warmth. Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished and the many people whose lives she brightened.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 207 Palmetto Ave. S., Green Cove Springs, FL 32043, on Monday, November 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow immediately at Penney Farms Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a charity dear to Connie's heart.
