In Loving Memory of Mrs. Connie Fayette BrowderConnie Fayette Browder, a cherished wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, peacefully passed away at her home in Lawtey on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at the age of 72. Her life, marked by grace and wisdom, was a testament to her enduring spirit.Born on July 8, 1951, in Jacksonville to Harold and Gertie (Godwin) Eunice, Connie's journey was defined by her deep sense of family and her unyielding work ethic. She retired from D. Mosley Trucking, where her dedication was unwavering. She was also a faithful member of Christ Church, where her faith in God provided her with strength and comfort throughout her life.Connie had a passion for life that was evident in her hobbies. She found joy in sewing, embarked on adventures to the West, relished long rides through the woods, and engaged in spirited games of Scrabble. Her business acumen, wisdom, and intuitive nature made her a respected presence among her friends and family.Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Gertie, and her five brothers, Jimmy, Gene, Phil, Sammy, and Julius Eunice. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 32 years, Jake Browder of Lawtey, who shared in her joys and sorrows. Her love extended to her two children, Tammy Riggs (Matthew) and Dale Mosley (Rachel), all of Lawtey, who will forever cherish her memory.Connie's legacy continues through her surviving brothers, Emory Eunice (Pat) of Williston and Roger Eunice (Sharon) of Tennessee. Her memory is also lovingly held by two sisters-in-law, Carolene Eunice and Martha Eunice.She was affectionately known as "Nanny" by her grandchildren, Emily, Bailey, and Garrett, and by her great-grandchildren, Carter and Della, who brought immense joy to her life.Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance, beginning at 10:00 a.m. on October 5, 2023, at Long Branch Baptist Church. Funeral services will commence at 11:00 a.m., led by Mr. Emory Eunice, Pastor Roger Euncie and Pastor Lester Austin. Following the service, Connie will be laid to rest at Long Branch Cemetery.In honoring Connie's memory, we find solace in the knowledge that she has found her eternal rest in the arms of the Lord.
