Connie Jo Shannon

Mrs. Connie Jo Shannon 65 of Melrose passed away January 28, 2021, at Shands Hospital in Gainesville following an extended illness. She was born March 23, 1955, in Miami to the late James and Dorothy (Melton) Smith. Mrs. Shannon was a retired Real estate Broker. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, Global Vision Sunday School Class and enjoyed traveling making a lasting, loving and Christian impact on others. Mrs. Shannon leaves behind her loving husband of 45 years Donald "Don" Shannon and their son John Shannon. Also left behind are two sisters Cathy and Becky along with two grandchildren. A memorial service for Mrs. Shannon will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2021, in Trinity Baptist Church with Pastor Brandon Denmark officiating.
