Constance C. Hallowell died peacefully June 17, 2020, at age 95. Connie grew up in Narberth, PA and spent early years performing as a ballerina with the Philadelphia Philharmonic Symphony before going on to do modeling work with the Philadelphia Modeling and Charm School where she also was an instructor. She then entered the real estate business as a title agent for the remainder of her career. Connie was preceded in death by her husband, John G. Hallowell, to whom she was married for 39 years. Connie enjoyed marking her home a beautiful sanctuary for all who visited. But her most cherished days were those spent relaxing with John as their second home on the bay in Stone Harbor, New Jersey, where they kept a boat. Here she enjoyed delighting friends and family with her excellent cooking and entertaining skills. A summer highlight was the much-anticipated party she and John hosted in August for the annual Festival of Lights Boat Parade. Sitting on the deck, guests enjoyed exquisite food, light music, and merry company while beautifully illuminated boats slowly meandered through the bay. In 1975, Connie and John moved to Florida to be closer to family. Immediate survivors are stepsons Edward and John and many nieces and nephews. Private services will be held at Washington Memorial Chapel in Valley Forge, PA.
