Courtney Stringfield Costello, 59, of Jacksonville, FL passed peacefully from this life in the early morning hours of December 9, 2021 surrounded by loved ones.Courtney was a graduate of Temple University, and for most of her professional life she worked in Human Resource departments at several law firms in Jacksonville, FL, Philadelphia, PA and Phoenix, AZ.She enjoyed working with stained glass as a hobby, giving her creations to loved ones or friends. Courtney was at home on the water or in it. She enjoyed SCUBA diving, off-shore fishing, or just relaxing on the boat reading one of her many favorite books.Courtney is survived by her loving husband, Patrick L. Costello, loving brother, David A. Stringfield both of Jacksonville, FL, her cherished sisters Cheryl Kilbourne and Jane Thornhill both of Detroit, MI, her beloved nephew Winston Stringfield, her beloved niece Savannah Stringfield both of Orange Park, FL, and many other nieces, nephews and cousins.She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.A funeral mass for Courtney will be held at 11am on Dec 29, 2021, officiated by Father Jhon Guarnizo at: Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 10472 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32246.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Blessed Trinity Catholic Church (btccjax.org), the Jacksonville Humane Society (jaxhumane.org), or Community Hospice, specifically the Earl B.
