A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at 11AM in the Evergreen Cemetery, 4535 N. Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206. Covie was born in Harlan, KY on April 6, 1945. Covie is preceded in death by his loving wife Joann Boggs whom he was married to for fifty seven years. Covie is survived by his daughters; Debbie Lane and Teresa Cumbie, his son; Ken Boggs and his husband Richard Willinger, two daughters; Debbie Lane and Teresa Cumbie. He is also survived by three brothers; Condon Boggs and his wife Kathy, Robert Boggs and his wife Karen, Randall Boggs and his wife Patricia. Survivors also include four great grandchildren; Tressa Costlow and her husband Kyle, Tiara Johnson and her husband Chandler, Taylor Cumbie and Talorah Cumbie. He parents were Robert H. Boggs and Martha Gross Boggs. He is also survived by three brothers; Condon Boggs (Kathy), Robert Boggs (Karen), Randall Boggs (Patricia). Four grandchildren; Tressa Costlow (Kyle), Tiara Johnson (Chandler), Taylor Cumbie and Talorah Cumbie. Three great-grandchildren; Tinsley, Cannon and Tripp Johnson.
