Cynthia McIntosh Stormant, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, and Aunt. Born September 21, 1947, passed away March 20, 2025. She was 77 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Earl and Dorthy Lucille McIntosh, her sister Sandra Joan McIntosh, and brother Earl Randolph (Randy) McIntosh.

She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Stormant Diaz (Hector), son, Daren Stormant (Debbie), Grandchildren, Danielle Hamby (Brenden Heil) and Travis Hamby (Alex Hensley), Great-granddaughter, Meredith Hamby, sisters, Pam Tomlinson, Teresa Harrelson, and Candace McIntosh, along with numerous nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Cynthia grew up in Columbia County where she graduated from Columbia High School. While she lived in various locations throughout her life, she settled in Alachua near family. During her lifetime she worked as a Cosmetologist and Travel Agent.

When she was able Cynthia loved traveling, dancing, and especially gathering with family. A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, May 4 at 1:30 PM at the Mason City Community Center, Lake City, Florida. The family invites all family and friends to join us. Lunch will be served.
