Dale Edward Brown

Mr. Dale Edward "Mr. B" Brown, Sr. age 70, of Starke passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Brown was born on May 20, 1948 in Palatka to the late Fate and Lucile (Edwards) Brown and was a lifelong area resident. Dale was a member of Pine Level Baptist Church and worked in sales for Sawyer Gas, Dairy Queen and Badcock Home Furnishings. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Barbara (McRae) Brown, his infant son and his great grandson, Remington Fate Holsenbeck. Survivors are: his wife Janet (Basford) Brown of Starke, daughter, Kim Holsenbeck (Mitch) of Steinhatchee, sons, Dale Brown, Jr. (Vicki) of Spanish Fort, AL and Kyle Brown (Jasmine) of Gainesville. Also left are his grandchildren, Dustin (Kayla), Dalton (Whitney), Shelby (Ryan), Morgan, Dalen and Devyn, great grandchildren, Kelsey, Rhett, Hadley, and Taylin. The family will receive friends in the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel of Jones Gallagher Funeral Home on Monday, September 17, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. with interment following in Crosby Lake Cemetery.
