**Obituary for Dale Popp (1956-2025)**

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dale Popp, age 69, who left this world on August 12, 2025. Born on January 29, 1956, in Seymour, Indiana, Dale spent his life embodying integrity and love, traits that defined his time with us and will continue to resonate through his family.

Dale was a devoted husband to Susan Popp, with whom he shared 54 beautiful years. Their love was a testament to the bonds of family and devotion and together they created a nurturing home where joy flourished, especially with the arrival of their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Each moment spent with them filled him with pride and happiness, and their achievements were his greatest treasures.

A selfless soul, Dale thrived on time spent with his family and found joy in simple pleasures like fishing and playing his guitar, intertwining music and nature into his life's tapestry. His passion for the sport of Jai-Alai was well known and a passion he shared with his son Erik with both of them having realized their dreams of playing professional Jai-Alai. He cherished all animals, reflecting his compassionate spirit. Dale lived by the faith that "In God We Trust," and his principles were rooted in the belief that "A man is only as good as his word." He often emphasized the value of a firm handshake and a man's word, highlighting his unwavering belief in honesty and integrity.
