My final tribute to my love Daniel Badenhorst 11/10/1964 - 04/09/2025 On April 9, 2025, on his dads birthday, it pleased our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to cut loose the silver cord of Daniel Badenhorsts life on earth. As the silver thread of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, family man, colleague and friend to many was cut, this golden bowl broke as he fell at the fountain. This wheel now lies broken at the cistern and the spirit has returned unto God who gave it. This remarkable human, Daniel Badenhorst has departed to his everlasting home, but not in vain!!!He fought the good fight, finished his course, and kept the faith, henceforth there is laid up for him a crown of righteousness which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give him that day and not to him only, but unto all of them that loved his appearing. The Lord delivered him from every evil work, preserved him unto his heavenly kingdom as He promised. To Him be glory for ever and ever. Amen. Yes, like a thief in the night his Creator came so peacefully to claim back the breath of life He so generously afforded Daniel with for 60 wonderful years (22,065 days) He accompanied Daniel back to his new heavenly home. He removed from Daniel all the pain and suffering Daniel dealt with and afforded him a new breath of Life that can never ever be robbed from him again. Yes, I know for sure there was great joy in heaven when Daniel stood before his Maker and looked upon the One whose blood was shed for him and his Maker and Savior then looked down upon Daniel and said, "It is done, enter into My portal with Thanksgiving, for you loved my appearance and finished your race." Today Daniel is in the presence of great company with his Creator, his dad, mom, brother and numerous loved ones and friends that he loved so much. This clay pot, created in Christ Jesus unto good woks, as pre-ordained by God unto righteousness was saved unto good works by grace through faith, and that not of himself, but by the precious blood of Jesus Christ his Savior - a precious gift of God Yes, my sorrow is so great but my love for him will never die. My memories of him will never fade. It will comfort me as I save and cherish them like a valuable treasure. Daniel afforded me so much love, happiness and security as only a loving spouse can, and for that I will forever be grateful to him. Heavenly Father, Son and Holy spirit, I thank Thee so much that Thee brought this remarkable person along the road I travelled on, and I was the fortunate one to become his wife. Lord, you loaned him to me for 38 blessed years (14,004 days). I became more than I ever expected to become, and so did he. Out of our union of love we became parents to our two precious sons, and he leaves behind a precious array of people that he so dearly loved. He is survived by: Wife: Elena N Badenhorst, Sons: Frans Hendrik Badenhorst and Gert Frederick Badenhorst, Daughters in law: Samantha Lynn Badenhorst and Marilda Badenhorst, Grand children: Daniel Badenhorst (grandson), Johanna Lynn Badenhorst (granddaughter), Ava Lynn Badenhorst (granddaughter), Frederick Daniel Badenhorst (grandson), and Unborn baby in mothers womb. Also left behind are his sisters: Lorien Victor, Christa van Rooyen, Brothers in law: Francois Victor, Anton van Rooyen and Sister-in-Law: Erika Badenhorst Also, a long list of extended family members, colleagues and friends, too many to list. And to all of you that loved, encouraged, befriended and enjoyed his company, I say thank you so much. You will never know how much you enriched his life He was my best friend, companion and confidant. What a privilege it was to be so completely spoiled. Lord, I owe Thee a great debt of gratitude for bringing the two of us together. I was the fortunate pot that found such a great lid to be my match. I thank thee for the precious time we had together. I will always cherish his memory like a valuable gem as I secure it in the rooms of my soul. I thank Thee that Thou are the Keeper of promises as I continually trust Thee more and more for comfort and support through thick and thin, until we meet again at the right time set by Thee, for as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: so Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Thanks to Pastor for conducting the burial as we honor the memory of this giant that fell, and as we wave him goodbye and lie him down to rest here at Melrose Eliam Cemetery 821 State Rd 21 Melrose, FL 32666 on this Good Friday, April 18, 2025, well think of him not as a dead but as a man that richly lives. Sela. And as we bow our heads to Thee, precious Father of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and through the Holy Spirit we can share in Pauls "prayer and appeal" and let this be prayed over all of you today here present "For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen." Ephesians 3:14-21 KJV We love you all and thank you for your presence Family Daniel Badenhorst11/10/1964 to 4/9/2025
