David Wayne Foltz

David Wayne Foltz, age 62, passed away on Sunday November 11, 2018 at the Hadlow Center for Caring Hospice in Jacksonville. A memorial service will be held to celebrate his life at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday November 17, 2018 in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd., S., with Dr. Terry N. Collins officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday November 16th in the funeral home.A Jacksonville native, David was born here on September 4, 1956 to Wayne Edward Foltz & Ruth Louise Foltz. He was a graduate of Englewood High School, Class of 1974. David was an auto body-man & painter for most of his working life with Joyserv. He enjoyed watching the Florida Gators, Nascar, hunting, fishing, and being with family.David was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Foltz & mother-in-law, Jean Buchanan. He is survived by his parents, Ruth & Ben Buchanan; his beloved & devoted wife of 43 years, Teresa Foltz; his daughter, Abby Potts (husband, Robert Potts); his 2 grandchildren, Alex siblings, Debbie Evans, Tim Foltz, & Cathy Bulls and by many nieces, nephews, extended family members & friends.Memorial donations may be made in Davids honor to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, mda.org..Receiving FriendsGeorge H.
