David Gordon Harmon

Funeral services for David Gordon Harmon, 87, will be held at 11:00A.M. Thursday, in Jacksonville National Cemetery with military honors. Born May 6, 1930 in Jacksonville, FL to William and Enna Harmon, Mr. Harmon died Monday, Nov. 13, 2017 in Jacksonville. He was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and Texas A & M University; was a former member of Murray Hill Baptist Church; served in the U. S. Navy as a Quality Control Officer with the Corps of Engineers. Survivors include two daughters, Cynthia and Diane; a son, Keith; two brothers, Reid Martin (Jeanne) Harmon of Jacksonville, FL and Elwood Lawrence (Sheila) Harmon of Jacksonville, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of both Woodland Grove Health & Rehab and Community Hospice for their care of David. Funeral arrangements are under the direction on George H.
