David Doyn Knight, Sr. David Doyn Knight, Sr., age 49, passed away suddenly on January 15, 2013. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday January 21, 2013 in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd., S. with Rev. Gary Hutcheson officiating. Burial, with military honors, will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday January 20th from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. David was born in St. Petersburg, FL on February 8, 1963 to Douglas & Lura Knight. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during Operation Desert Storm and achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. David worked for Swisher International, Inc. as a Senior Tech Support Analyst.
