David Timothy Thigpen age 62 of Orange Heights passed away in Gainesville on Saturday, April 2, 2022. David was born in Atlanta, Georgia on December 20, 1959 to the late Donald and Annie "Dougherty" Thigpen. Mr. Thigpen enjoyed fishing and spending time with friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Annie "Dougherty" Thigpen and his brother, James "Jimbo" Thigpen. Survivors include his sister, Marjorie (Mark) Turner-Hicks Pearson; nieces and nephews, Amanda Turner, Sarah Turner, and Joe Turner; and two-great nephews, Conner Austin and Braxton Willingham.Graveside services will take place at 11:00 a.m. at Saluda Cemetery on Thursday, April 21, 2022.
