David Lowell Vaughan, 66, of Keystone Heights, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 5th, 2022 at home. His wife, Geneva Vaughan, survives. They were married on August 21st, 1993 and had just celebrated their 29th year anniversary together.He was born on July 3rd, 1956 in Dayton Ohio, a son to the late Denver Vaughan and Joyce Alcorn Vaughan. A proud Native American, David was an avid outdoorsman with a love for bald eagles, fishing, and his family.David received a degree in engineering as well as his certification in Respiratory Therapy - he had also honorably served in the United States Marine Corps. In addition to his wife, David is survived by his stepchildren, Christopher (Heather) Crabtree, of Xenia; Beth (Darrell) Green of Hillsboro; his siblings, Diana (Stan) Swihart of Lakeland, Martha Goodin and Mark Vaughan both of Kentucky and Denver Joseph Vaughan of Dayton; Grandchildren, Joseph (Alicia) Crabtree of Carlise, James (Princess) Crabtree of San Diego, Darrell J. Green of Wilmington, Cody (Nina) Green of Nashville, Christopher G. Crabtree of Salt Lake City, Sara (Christian) Stone of Wilmington; Great grandchildren, Layla, Alexis, Evelyn and Camden; as well as his beloved dog Lilly. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his great grandson, Jaxon. Memorial services will be held later at the convenience of the family.In lieu of flowers, contributions in David's memory may be made to your local Hospice.
