David M. Whitcomb, born in Cleveland in 1966, left this earth for heaven on Sept. 29th after an extended illness. He has been considered a member of the McFadden family for the last 30 years by Dr. Bernard and Georgia McFadden. In addition to his parents, he leaves behind 4 siblings: Timothy McFadden (Uyen), Kimberly McFadden, Scott McFadden, Daniel McFadden (Vicki); a niece, Riley McFadden; nephews, Tyler Acimovic and Sean McFadden, along with many friends, especially his mentor and advocate, Pamela Newman. In 1974, at the age of 8, David was placed with Boys Town, Nebraska, where he excelled academically in the National Honor Society and graduated from high school second in a class of 100 students. He was also an outstanding pitcher and short stop on the Boys Town baseball team. He then went to Florida State on a full scholarship, receiving his B.A. in Economics in 1989. From there he went to Chicago where he traded commodities on the floor of the Chicago Exchange for 10 years. He then went to Canada where he was a full time Trader for Merrill Lynch on the Montreal Stocks Exchange until 2001. In 2003, David joined First Magnus Financial Corp. where he was highly regarded by his colleagues and clients as a friend to all and a successful Account Manager. David continued to peruse his passion for finance and business by earning an M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix in 2010. A Rosary will be at 10:30 a.m. and a celebration Mass of Davids eternal homecoming will be at 11:00 a.m., October 9, 2013 at St. William Catholic Church with Father Mike Williams Presiding.
