Mr. David William Keefe age 65 of Jacksonville passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025 at UF Health in Jacksonville following an extended illness. He was born November 21, 1959 in Miami to William and Jane (Hunt) Keefe. Mr. Keefe joined the military in February 1977 and retired with rank of E6 in February 1992 he then went on to join the reserves. He also worked as a Merchant Marine for Crowley for almost 20 years before he retired. Mr. Keefe was an avid Miami Dolphins fan and enjoyed spending time with family. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his sister Linda Keefe survivors are his wife of nearly 45 years Violeta (Tabangcura) Keefe and their son Ian Keefe, his wife, Michelle, and their children, Nadia Keefe and Raiden Keefe. Also left behind is his mother Jane (Hunt) Keefe, siblings, Mark Keefe, his wife, Sandra and Dale Keefe. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 28th in the Helm-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel from 5:00pm to 7:00pm ending with Military Honors at 7:00pm.
