David Edward Williams Sr.6/28/57 - 9/13/20It is with great sadness that we announce that David has passed at the age of 63, after a long and hard fought battle with cancer. David will be most remembered for his kindness and his ability to always have a positive attitude and optimistic look on life.David started his career as a proud member of the IBEW union as a journeyman and ended it at Jacksonville Aviation Authority as a Field Electrician. He was a loving husband, father, uncle and brother to many. He was born in Miami Springs, FL as a third generation Floridian and moved to Jacksonville, where he resided until his death.David was preceded in death by both his mother and father, William (Bill) Williams and Sara Glenn-Williams and his son Benjamin Alex Williams. He is survived by and will be lovingly remembered by his loving wife, Gloria Gay-Williams. His beloved sons, David (DJ) Edward Williams Jr and his step son Marshal Everett Letchworth. David will also be missed by his sister Joanne (Ron) Gutcher and brother Glen Williams and many cousins and beloved nieces and nephews.A celebration of David's life will be held at his family home on September 26th at 4PM.
