Mr. Dean "DeanO" Lewis Alliton age 84 of Keystone Heights passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, June 11, 2026. He was born in Owosso, Michigan, on April 1, 1942, to Jacob and Jennieve (Defrenn) Alliton. He grew up in Owosso and graduated from Owosso High School as a member of the Class of 1960.

During his school years, he was a talented multi-sport athlete and developed a lifelong love of sports. Mr. Alliton spent more than 30 years playing fast-pitch softball with numerous teams throughout the Owosso area. As a skilled construction professional, most of his life was spent working in the construction industry. He enjoyed traveling to Florida during the winter months, following sports of all kinds, and, most importantly, spending quality time with his family and friends. His family and friends will always remember his kind heart, generous spirit, and willingness to help anyone in need.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Alliton. Mr. Alliton is survived by his beloved wife, Judy Hazard; his sons, Jacob (Mikki) Alliton and Vaughn Alliton; grandchildren, Jennifer (Joe) Cunningham, Kory (Brandy) Alliton, and Emily Alliton; and three great-grandchildren.
