Deborah Jean Jarnagin

Deborah Jean Jarnagin age 68, of Starke passed away at her home on Saturday, July 23, 2016. She was born in Brunswick; Maryland to the late John Walter and Norma (Simons) Schamel. Deborah graduated from Chambersburg High School in Pennsylvania and later attended Business College obtaining her court reporters certificate. Prior to retirement she worked for Arnold & Porter Law Firm as a legal secretary for many years. Deborah has been a resident of Starke for the past 7 years and attended the First United Methodist Church in Starke. She enjoyed gardening, shopping, reading and dancing; Deborah was also a very talented artist. She was preceded in death by her husband of eleven years Richard Jarnagin and her sister, Barbara Ann Schamel. Survivors are her sister, Tanya "Tami" Curtis (Michael Dale). There are no scheduled services at this time. The family has requested donations be made in her memory to the First United Methodist Church, P.O.
