Mrs. Deborah Marie Trouba, age 68, of Keystone Heights passed away Monday, April 24, 2023, at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL. She was born November 15, 1954, in Sioux City, IA to the late Richard Trouba and Patricia (Moerke) Shannon. At the age of 18, Deborah made the decision to join the United States Air Force, where she earned the rank of MSgt and retired after 20 years of dedicated and honorable service to her country.After Deborah and her family moved to Keystone Heights in 2004, she became active in the community. She volunteered at the elementary school, was a member of VIPS at the Clay County Sheriffs Office, renovated the dog park, and was a poll worker with the Clay County Supervisor of Elections. Deborah enjoyed sewing and bird watching, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends. Deborah leaves behind her loving husband of 28 years, David Hutchinson of Keystone Heights, and three children: Alyson Trouba, Ashley Watson (Dustin), and David Marcus Hutchinson. Also left behind are five siblings: Michael Shannon, Jim Shannon, Steve Shannon (Shelly), Laura Jennings (Kevin), and Larry Trouba (Suzy). She was lovingly called "Grandma" by Miya and Atticus. Her family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
