Dee Ann Harden Morgan, passed away peacefully and went to be with the Lord on June 3, 2015, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was a life-long resident of Jacksonville, Florida, born May 15, 1938, and graduated from Andrew Jackson Senior High School in 1956. She worked as a school secretary for the Duval County School Board during the late '60's to early '70's and was always a faithful and dedicated wife, mother, and superb homemaker throughout her 56 years of marriage. She is survived by her husband Earl Thomas "Tommy" Morgan, Jr., daughter Brenda Morgan Boone (Daniel Eric Boone I), sister, Jymmie Harden (Al Farrington), and loving in-laws, George Morgan (Glenda), John Morgan (Betty), Jim Stewart, Donald Morgan (Pam), Patricia Williams, Jimmy "Jammer" Morgan (Catherine Smith) and many wonderful nephews, nieces, grandchild and great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Earl and Mercidease Harden, and sister Eleanor Dean (Jimmy Dean). Funeral service will be held Monday at 2:00 PM in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard South, with Dr. Paul White of Faithbridge Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
