Delbert Lamar Morgan

Delbert Lamar Morgan, 81, passed away on May 23, 2017 at E.T. York Haven Hospice Care Center. He was retired from the Alachua County School Board and served in the US Army. Lamar was preceded in death by his wife, Dora E. Morgan, mother, father, and brother. He is survived by his three children; Linda Howze-Thomas (Antonino), Brenda Clement (David), and David Morgan, 11 grandchildren; Charles, Carl, Calvin, Chandra, Candi, and Corry Preston, Zantavia Burse, Monroe, Mariec, Markus Howze, and Jacquelyn Evans, 28 great-grandchildren, and many more loving relatives. There will be a visitation on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Eden Baptist Church, 2405 SE CR 219A Hawthorne, FL at 10am with a service beginning at 11am. Interment will take place following services at Forest Meadows Memorial Park East. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Meadows Funeral Home.
