BRANDT Deloris Jean Brandt, age 68, of Green Cove Springs, a retired tour guide, passed away peacefully August 15, 2011, at the Community Hospice Hadlow Center. Deloris was born in Dearborn, Michigan on July 15, 1943 to Anthony Ferrante and Mary W. Bennett. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, John M. Brandt; the couple lived in Green Cove Springs for 17 years after moving from Jacksonville. She is also survived by her children; John M. Brandt, Jr. of Green Cove Springs; Michelle Combs (Chris) of St. Johns County; Patrick W. Brandt (Tonya) of Green Cove Springs; Cherri Sterling (Robert) of North Carolina; Carl O. McKenney, Jr. (Linda) of Georgia; her sister Georgianna Sam Hester (Bob) of Lakeland; her ten grandchildren Aaron, Mason, Shelby, Eli, Leland, Emeri, Caleb, Jacob, Chardai, Kyle; and two great-grandchildren Jayden and Alaura. Deloris belonged to Green Cove Springs Lions Club for many years and loved to do art and crafts when she wasnt on a gambling junket. A celebration of her life will be held at the home of Michelle & Chris Combs at 4906 Boat Landing Drive St. Augustine, Fl. 32092 on Saturday August 20, 2011 at 1:00pm.
