Denise C. TurnerDenise, who was born September 25th, 1957 in Gainesville, FL, went on to be with the Lord on Friday, June 4, 2021.Denise was preceded in death by her parents James & Louise Chester, sister Sharon K. Hill, cousin Mickey Franklin and nephew Aaron Blankenship.Denise is survived by her son, James Calvin Butler II (Cassie); sister Glenda Roque (Anthony); granddaughter, S. Paige Butler; grandson, Justin Butler; cousins, Twyla Williams (Cliff), Ken Franklin, and Daryle Blankenship; several nieces and nephews and a great many friends.Denise worked at Florida Blue for 24 years and was also a licensed Cosmetologist. She was a member of Rise Church on Jacksonvilles Westside.Denise loved our Lord Jesus Christ and her life was a testament of her faith. For this reason, we know that she now walks alongside our Heavenly Father in His promised kingdom.Celebration of Life will be held at Rise Church, 8081 Lenox Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32221, on June 19, 2021, at 11:00 am.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider making a donation to MD Anderson Cancer Center (Jacksonville, Florida) or the Pinky Promise Foundation (Callahan, Florida) in Denise C.
