Born on May 16, 1945, in St. Petersburg, Florida, Dennis earned his bachelor's degree in music and special education at the University of Florida and dedicated his career to serving others as a Rehabilitation and Music Therapist.

Eddie LeCouteur) and Dennis Blackburn Jr. He was a proud grandfather to Ren (m. Damon Blackburn) and Atlas Blackburn, and a great-grandfather to Crimson Blackburn, who brought him immense joy.
