Dennis Keefe born February 26,1965 in Orange Park Florida to Bernice Leonard and Richard James Keefe . At the young age of 60 passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Baptist Clay Medical Center in Fleming Island Florida. After a sudden illness that led to many complications Dennis is preceded by both parents Mother Bernice Leonard and Father Richard J Keefe. His oldest Brother Richard J "Butchie" Keefe II who passed away March 17, 2025, just 13 days before Dennis. Sister Donna Jo Meek. Brother his lifelong best bud( ya didnt say one without saying the others name, it was David and Dennis or Dennis and David) David "Keefer" Keefe. Also, Nephew, Richard J "Lil Jimmy" Keefe III. Dennis is survived by Sister Jackie Rivers & youngest Brother Chad Shelton. Nieces & Nephews, Randy & Joe Meek. Jeffery, Ryan, Chloe Rivers & Jessica Johnson. Cierra, Dillon, Dalton & Kaison Shelton. Macy Keefe. 10 great Nieces/Nephews. A pile of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. And countless friendships that have span many years including his Bestie Felicia Phillips and (sister says his twin) Jeff "Monk Monk"Ausbon who along with Family stayed at bedside with Dennis until his end.- Grandpa Wiseman gave Dennis the nickname "Pogey" when he was just a few weeks old, said he was like a little Pogey fish out of the water flipping all around in his crib. That nickname stuck not something that wed hear a lot later, but Dennis would still answer to it if ya called it out, that nickname got passed down to his own Son who has 3 children of his own.This is not forgotten.It is easy for one to pass judgement.
