Dennis Kite

Mr. Dennis Kite, Sr. age 86, of Middleburg passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Orange Park Medical Center following a brief illness. Mr. Kite was born on April 28, 1931 in Starke to the late Perry Kite, Sr. and Lessie (McKinney) Kite and was a lifelong area resident. Prior to retirement he worked as a roofer in the construction business. Dennis was of the Nazarene faith and enjoyed Fishing and hunting. Preceding him in death was his wife Hazel (Brinson) Kite and step-son, Joe Todd. Survivors are: his children: Dennis Kite, Jr. (Mary), Randall W. Kite (Sherry), Mark Kite all of Middleburg, Timothy Kite (Susan) of Green Cove Springs, and Laurel Taylor of New York. Also left behind are his step-children: Becky Turner of Bryant, AL, Nancy Miller of Richmond Hill, GA, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the DEWITT C. JONES CHAPEL of Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home on Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. with funeral services beginning at 2 oclock. Interment will follow in McKinney Cemetery.
