Diedre D. Connors of Gainesville FL. Passed away June 6, 2021, at the age of 95. Diedre was born September 11, 1925, to Robert & Ada Wright, in Indianapolis, IND. Diedre had brothers, Roger & Robert Wright, and sister Norma Asbed which have preceded her in death. She was a resident of Gainesville & Tampa, FL. Until the death of her husband John Connors. She then moved to Gainesville 7 years ago to live with her loving sister Marjorie Wright-Johnson with her husband Donald C. Johnson. Diedre was the owner of 3 hair salons here in Gainesville. She taught Cosmetology in Tampa and was an avid golfer the Gainesville Golf C.C. She served two years in the U.S. Navy. Diedre is survived by daughter Cynthia & David Parrish of Seffner, FL. Stepson Terry & Patty Connors, Stepdaughter Sue Connors of York, PA, two grandchildren Natalie Nelson & Angelo Zambito of Tampa, FL. Close nieces: Kim Greek, Tina Craig, Nodie D'Agostino, Karen Hinton, of Indianapolis, IND. The family & Friends will hold a visitation Friday, June 11, 2021, from 4-6 PM with a funeral service at 6PM, at Forest Meadows Funeral Home, 725 NW 23rd Avenue, Gainesville, FL. 32609.
